The New Decorative Ensembliers – Exhibition - Mobilier National, Gobelins Manufactory

Presented within the Sustainable Practices Lab, this project explores the potential of natural, bio-based materials through a wall-mounted bas-relief made from miscanthus fiber. Developed in collaboration with @novinov.eu, the material is locally produced in Île-de-France, fully biodegradable, and enriched with recycled PLA to reveal a naturally golden hue. A single machine pass refines the surface, unveiling its delicate transparency and texture. A parametric pattern enhances both its structural strength and visual lightness. Originally studied through a series of vases and lighting pieces, the material evolves here into an architectural wall covering composed of openwork scales that filter light and create a warm, textured presence within the space.
