Senshi is a sculptural rug inspired by the folds of an abandoned warrior’s kimono. Developed through a study of Japanese Boro textiles, its layered relief transforms the rug into a three-dimensional landscape, conceived to inhabit both floor and wall.
Hand-tufted in wool and crafted in France by Pinton, Senshi draws on the Aubusson tradition of carpet and tapestry making. First presented during Milan Design Week in 2023, the piece was subsequently exhibited in Paris and Berlin. In 2025, a larger version entered the collection of the Mobilier National.
